Mark Magnozzi

Mark Magnozzi is a founding partner of Magnozzi & Kye, LLP. Born in New York, Mr. Magnozzi practices law in New York, New Jersey, California, and Pennsylvania, and he has experience providing legal counsel in other states. Graduating magna cum laude from CUNY in 1992, Mr. Magnozzi took a year to work before entering law school at Southern California’s Pepperdine University, where he received his Juris Doctorate in 1996. His many memberships include various state bar associations and the Commercial Law League of America (CLLA), a group of expert bankruptcy and commercial law attorneys, and the Equipment Leasing & Financing Association. ELFA is a trade association serving commercial institutions in the United States.

Matthew Kye

Matthew Kye is a founding partner of Long Island's successful commercial litigation law firm Magnozzi & Kye, LLP. Mr. Kye has been practicing law at both state and federal levels for over one decade. He began his education at SUNY Albany, earning a Bachelor's degree in history. Later, he returned to his home town of Brooklyn to attend law school. He attained his Juris Doctorate from Brooklyn Law School in 1996. Mr. Kye's professional experience includes membership to professional associations relevant to his practice, including the American Bankruptcy Institute, an organization devoted entirely to insolvency research and education. Mr. Kye also belongs to the Commercial Law League of America, an elite band of bankruptcy and commercial litigation lawyers.

Cynthia Sue Butera

Cynthia Butera is Of Counsel to Magnozzi & Kye, LP and has been practicing law since 1997. She is admitted in State Court and the Federal District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Ms. Butera began her legal career in a large firm in Manhattan, where she mainly handled the defense of professional and accountants' malpractice claims as well as other commericial matters representing both plaintiffs and defendants. Prior to joining Magnozzi & Kye, LP, Ms.Butera was an associate in a large firm on Long Island where she handled a full range of commercial matters, including partnership and other business disputes, as well as surrogate's court litigation. Ms. Butera received her Juris Doctorate in 1997 from St. John's Law School and her Bachelors of Business Administration from Hofstra University in 1989. Ms. Butera is also a Certified Public Accountant and is member of the Suffolk County Bar Association.

Amish R. Doshi

Amish R. Doshi is Of Counsel to the firm of Magnozzi & Kye, LLP. Mr. Doshi's primary areas of practice include bankruptcy, creditors' rights, general and commercial litigation, general corporate and real estate transactional matters. Mr. Doshi has extensive experience representing equipment lessors, financial institutions, asset-based lenders and other creditors in all aspects of bankruptcy practice, including work-outs, restructurings, reorganizations and liquidations. Among other courts, Mr. Doshi frequently appears before bankruptcy judges in the Southern District of New York and the District of Delaware, two of the country's busiest bankruptcy courts. Mr. Doshi represents creditors in a wide array of commercial disputes regarding loan and lease enforcement litigations in both state and federal courts in New York and throughout the United States. His other legal experience includes defense of Fair Debt Collection Practices Act litigations, general corporate matters, representing buyers and sellers of business, including medical practices and franchise businesses and real estate transaction matters. Mr. Doshi has a B.A. in Accounting and Mathematics from Queens College, City University of New York and a J.D. from New York Law School. He is also a Certified Public Accountant. Mr. Doshi currently serves on the Board of Directors of North American South Asian Bar Association (NASABA) (2010-2011), is a former officer of the South Asian Bar Association of New York (SABANY) - VP In-House/Private Sector Attorneys (2008-2009) and has been a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute for several years.
